BIG MESS BIO

Big Mess is a band of three guys from diverse backgrounds with a common punk heritage. They love mischief and know how to rock. If you like your music raw and uncensored Big Mess is the band for you. Hear them coming at you fast and furious and at full volume it’s Big Mess
Steve Sutton, (guitar and vocals) started his career in one of LA’s original punk bands The Unclaimed. Next was one of the greatest LA rock bands you never heard of The Moving Parts. Then of course there was the Dope Weasels it kind of explains itself. Now Steve has teamed up with another alumnus of the punk world, Chad.
Chad Carrier, (bass and vocals) started right in the thick of the punk scene and formed Easter one of the pioneers of the 80’s sound. With hits on KROQ, VH1 and MTV Chad lives his life large enjoying every moment. He then joined the intense and volatile all girl oops almost all girl band and Hollywood favorite Lovedog. With an album in Germany and touring of Europe and the west coast after being courted and not signed by the majors Lovedog disintegrated Followed by more local success with Black Eyed Susans and CC and the Jackpot Prize ready to start something fresh and without pretension Chad Formed Big Mess. Of course no band is complete without a drummer.
Ferd Vazkaz, while not technically a punk rock veteran, is by anybody’s definition a punk, so it all works out. Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, this is a guy who has done it all. From rock, to metal, to funk to something called norteño and cumbia. This is the chief reason the band is called Big Mess.
They are writing and performing some of the best rock songs you will hear anywhere. Be ready. Be prepared for Big Mess.
